Peter Houseman 1952 Jaguar XK-120 OTS
(Scroll down for photos.)
The fourth annual Venetian Fourth of July Classic Car show went forth with the four things that make up a successful show: no rain, lots of great cars to see, lots of good food, and lots of friends to talk with about cars.
Put on by the Venetian Isles homeowners association under the leadership of Eddie Alvarez and with assistance from AACA South Florida and the Sunshine Corvette Club, cars ringed the lake with antiques, hot rods, and Corvettes and Mustangs of all years. The people got to vote for their choice of best car in age categories and several AACA members came away with either bragging rights (second place) or Best in Class plaques. In the winners’ circle was Peter Housman with his 1952 Jaguar XK-120, a beautiful example of fine British craftsmanship and a nod to the losers of the Revolution.
Take tour around the lake through the photos.
