13th Annual Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance – February 24, 2019

Leading up to the show, the weather forecast was predicting a 60% chance of rain.  As often happens with weather predictions, it was wrong.  Except for being unseasonably warm, it was a perfect day for the 13th Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance.  The field was filled with 120 cars from the early 1900’s to 1975: foreign and American, muscle cars and not-so-muscle cars, convertibles, coupes, sedans race cars, and a separate area filled with motorcycles.  As it’s been every year, there were marques and models most of us have only seen in photographs.  They are much more impressive in person. Enjoy the photos and next year come out and see these beauties in person.

12th Annual Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance – February 25, 2018

What a day – what a car show.  Excuse me, what a Concours d’Elegance.  The field was filled with 240 cars from early 1900’s to 1975: foreign and American, muscle cars and not-so-muscle cars, convertibles, coupes, sedans race cars, beach cars, amphicars, motorcycles, and a boat.  There were models I’ve seen at many car shows and models that I’ve never seen other than in photographs.  If you didn’t come away with your car appetite sated then you weren’t paying attention.  Here are some photos and a link to photos taken by the event photographer.

11th Annual Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance – February 12, 2017

At the 11th Annual Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance, the A.A.C.A. South Florida Region was well-represented with four cars in the show and  on the judging teams with 17 of our members judging in 26 classes comprised of some 182 cars.  Once we finished our judging assignments we were free to look over the whole field.  We saw many fine cars from all eras of automotive history.  The Auburn, Cord, and Duesenberg display was a real treat.   Here are some of the cars for your enjoyment.
